In 1930-1960’s, JAZZ dance surged into musical theatre and certain choreographers like  George Balanchine, Agnes de Mille, Jack Cole, Hanya Holm, Helen Tamiris, Michael Kidd, Jerome Robbins, and Bob Fosse are using it in their musical theatre choreography and making it into their own expression of choreography and art. They started using their style of isolations and contractions, so this really made a popular ride in the nationalite and as JAZZ has progressed it fed into the profession of music and dance.
